Hanoi, Vietnam (April 21, 2021) — Vietnam has been one of the world’s virus-mitigation success stories for its quick response and efforts in containing COVID-19. Since April 2020, Vietnam has rolled out multiple anti-virus measures and policies to keep COVID-19 cases in check.
In January 2021, an outbreak was reported in Hanoi, with new cases reported from provinces such as Bac Ninh. In response to the outbreak, Hanoi authorities have ramped up tracking and testing capabilities. Interplex believes we should do our part for the local communities that we operate in.
To support Hanoi’s efforts to contain COVID-19, Interplex has donated disposable masks and COVID-19 testing kits to Bac Ninh Center of Disease Control (CDC) and Bac Ninh Obstetrics & Pediatrics Hospital. Our Hanoi team volunteered in-person, delivering the donations to both recipients and giving out disposable masks to patients at the Bac Ninh Obstetrics & Pediatrics Hospital.
Interplex is grateful for the opportunity to contribute back to the community. We hope that our support and contributions would make a difference in Vietnam’s battle against the pandemic. With the government’s COVID-19 prevention measures, we trust Vietnam will be successful in containing the virus.
