As part of our Corporate Social Responsibilities, the Interplex team in India recently visited the Sri Satya Sai Charitable Trust in Bangalore and donated clothes, utensils, and groceries as part of our continued support to the local communities living there.
Founded as a public charitable trust in 1972, it currently houses more than 100 orphans and elderly under its shelter and has been serving the local communities in the fields of health and education since its inception.
Currently, the Trust is managing over 100 community members in one campus, and has been giving this support even through the COVID-19 pandemic. As the Trust purely depends on donators, there has been an increased need for contributions from the public to enable them to continue supporting the communities they do.
“Express your humanity through charity” is the motto of the leaders behind the Trust, and in the recent years, it has undertaken the task of supplying safe drinking water to rural areas and supported the education of economically backward students by bearing their full academic expenses.
We hope that our contribution supports the trust in continuing their charitable deeds to those in need. We will remain steadfast in our efforts to contribute to these communities.
