Component Assembly

Interplex utilizes assembly processes such as manual, semi-automatic and fully automated assembly techniques ranging from lead crimping to automatic contact insertion and final assembly for connectors and smaller automotive components.

For automated electro-mechanical component assembly solutions, Interplex leverages its in-house capabilities to deliver custom designed assembly solutions ranging from single station work cells to fully-automatic robotic assembly systems. Our automation capabilities include rotary handling systems, fully automated and semi-automated systems as well as non-synchronous, rotary dial and cam operated automation

In addition to our product assembly services for electro-mechanical components, Interplex provides customers products in a variety of packaging solutions including tape and reel packaging, and trays designed to meet each customer’s needs to reduce costs during the next levels of assembly for smaller components.

Custom Server Racks and Cabinet Assembly

Interplex offers a complete, vertically-integrated solution for the assembly of Custom Server Rack and Server Cabinets with varying rack unit sizes (up to 42U), part numbers and complexity. For customer’s convenience, we provide sheet metal fabrication, powder coating, assembly to the final packaging.

Interplex manufactures a wide array of custom server racks and cabinet assembly styles. Units produced ranges from standard 19inch racks to customized racks configuration up to 42U. In addition, Interplex manages the entire mechanical supply chain, which can include nearly 100 different child part numbers and over 20 different sub-assemblies.
